I learned a few things a the park today:1) pigeons can walk just a little faster than Kahlil
2) a fence will not keep Kahlil from a friendly dog
3) puddles are fun to jump in
Kahlil has been doing pretty good with his 'more' sign lately. It's nice to have him tell you what he wants. Funny thing though, he only apples the sign to certain things like pretzels and cookies - drinks and fruit are not covered by the more sign.
He has also been crazy for a particular fruit a day. A couple days ago it was bananas. Yesterday it was persimmons. Today it was tangerines. Once a fruit is the fruit de jour, he will have nothing to do with them the next day. It's hard to keep up. I'm not sure what he'll do tomorrow since we are running out of new fruit.
Jay's train was an hour late tonight. He claims he almost died of exposure waiting at the station.
